The newest iteration of the Caterpillar Communication Adapter series supersedes the CAT Comm Adapter II. It is the communication device for CAT applications and crucial for proper communication with some CAT engines on dual datalinks, a requisite for certain CAT ET (Electronic Technician) functionalities. The CAT COMM3 adapter is RP1210 and will work with other RP1210 OEM and aftermarket software applications.
The CAT COMM 3 Interface Adapter Cables is available now from Ally Diagnostics, with UK delivery and support for OEM diagnostic software technicians.
